I’m sure you are hip, cool, confident, smooth, and handsome - but do you have what it takes to stare impossibiities and adversity in the eyes? Let me wake tomorrow with a completely refreshed view on reality; let me disregard all I’ve been taught by those who have colored in the lines as if commanded by the bible; let me stand tall and proud just like I feel day in and day out with the courage that has only been fabricated in my worn and tested heart - a heart that has contested with triumph and defeat - a heart that only knows passion and doesn’t know surrender. Get me down - go ahead - but I’ll never be out - and I’ll stick to my passion - and I say this now and forever - with absolutely no doubt. No true words are said in ignorance.
