We just got a free hotel room.
So our tour manager Wes went to this hotel - Comfort Inn. He walks in and tells the manager our situation of sleeping in Wal-Marts and lacking showers. Yesterday he did this at a Mariott and we got a free shower. But now he stepped it up a notch. The people here are letting us shower. Wonderfully nice people. Let me mention that first. And as we are sitting in the room I get this feeling and look at Josh and say - hey man, I have a feeling they would let us stay the night. Then the rest of the band looks up and says - yea I kind of feel that way too. And like something out of a movie - someone knocks at the door. Who is it? The manager of course. He says - hey guys, just want to let you know you could stay the night if you’d like. Wow. So we are staying the night in a nice room. Can’t that these wonderful people in Wilmington NC enough. The road seems to be having a soft spot for us this time around.
